At last, a reliable form of protection against the coronavirus is now ready. Scientists have successfully produced an effective COVID vaccine to help control this worldwide pandemic. Our medical facility is currently seeking approval from the LA Public Health Department to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. The two-dose vaccination is 95% effective in protecting against severe COVID-19. At Beverly Hills Health, we will be administering the coronavirus vaccine via appointment only.
The two vaccines which obtained emergency use authorization (EUA) from the FDA are the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines. Both use new mRNA technology to train your immune system to fight against COVID-19 disease. mRNA vaccines do not contain the virus at all and only contain its genetic material.
When the mRNA vaccine enters the body, it codes for viral proteins, which the human body starts producing. When the body is alerted that there are viral proteins present, it activates the immune system so it can start fighting without triggering disease or making you sick. The viral proteins that are produced are not toxic in any way, they only function as an alarm system so that the immune system can start working to generate antibodies against COVID-19. Be aware that the mRNA vaccine does not affect the human DNA, nor does it interfere with any of your genetic material.
Once the vaccine roll out is finalized by the Los Angeles Public Health Department, our clinic will begin administering the COVID-19 vaccines to Los Angeles residents.
Our facilities will provide safe vaccination services to minimize the risk of infection for both staff and clients. Our staff will note down the date, time, and type of dose you receive so you can schedule another appointment for the second booster dose of the vaccine.
